Continue ShoppingCity of Lights 12" Kitless Pen Blank
In the 1600's King Louis XIV appointed Paris's first lieutenant general of police to combat crime in the city. To make the streets safer, thousands of lanterns were installed and citizens were instructed to place candles in their windows. This made Paris one of the first illuminated cities in Europe and led to the nickname "City of Lights." Paris was also the epicenter of the Enlightenment period where thinkers like Voltaire used rational thought and philosophy to change the world. The Eiffel tower has over 20,000 light bulbs that shine for five minutes at the top of every hour.
This kitless pen blank mix has 9 different colors that tell the story. You'll find a blue base alongside darker swirls that represent the night. You'll also see gold and a lot of pearly colors that sparkle like lights. The biggest feature of the blank is the holographic flake floating throughout. These flakes twinkle like stars and complete the look.
